Delivery & Returns

We aim to get every order to you as quick as humanly possible.

Most orders over £500 qualify for Free Delivery**.

Where transport costs are higher charges can occur to cover costs, we always keep this to a minimum.

We use a range of courier services to deliver your items as quickly as possible. The size of the item determines the courier used. We have a few different categories which outline how your order will be delivered to you:

- Small items are delivered with our parcel courier and generally take 24-48 hours. You will receive delivery information directly from the courier.

- Large items are delivered by pallet and take around 2-5 working days depending on the delivery location. The courier will book the delivery directly with you.

- Very large or heavy items may be delivered either on a pallet or with our own transport. Dispatch and Delivery times can vary in this category.

Delivery is calculated at the Checkout. Navigate to the Checkout and input the delivery Postcode for an accurate delivery charge.

**The following postcodes are exempt from Free delivery due to locational surcharges applied by courier services but will still benefit from a subsidised rate on orders over £500.

PLEASE NOTE: Where items are delivered by pallet, the couriers are only under obligation to deliver it to the outside of your premises and it is your responsibility to transport the goods internally within your property. If you require a Two-man service to bring your goods inside your home please ask regarding this service at the point of order.

Teak Root Care Guide

Our Teak Root furniture products have been excavated out of the ground from The National Indonesian Eco Programme which encourages the regrowth of forests and promotes sustainable livelihoods for local people.

Treatment:

Indoor Use - Our Teak Root furniture requires no treatment and minimal maintenance. However, our Briwax Natural Beeswax can be applied to add a layer of protection.
Outdoor Use – We recommend the use of Teak Oil / Sealer to protect against the elements.
Teak naturally weathers to a silver-grey patina over time, which is desirable for many; this process can be slowed with treatments.

Cleaning:

Indoor Use – Regular dusting maybe be required.
Outdoor Use - Clean regularly with a soft brush or sponge and mild soap / teak cleaner to remove dirt and prevent staining. Rinse thoroughly with water and avoid harsh chemicals.

Protection:

Indoor Use - An initial application of the beeswax will add a protective layer. We would also recommend using the Briwax Spray as a polish when dusting, which will protect against staining between applications of the Briwax Natural Beeswax.
Outdoor Use - Use furniture covers during heavy rain or winter to prolong the life and appearance.
Place on a level surface and avoid direct ground contact to prevent moisture absorption.

Maintenance:

Indoor Use – Regular dusting and application of the Briwax Natural Beeswax as desired to maintain protection.
Outdoor Use – Regular cleaning and light sanding if the surface becomes rough or stained.

Additional Tips:

Teak Root is environmentally friendly and durable, but regular maintenance helps keep it looking its best in outdoor environments.
Expect natural variations in colour, grain, and texture due to its reclaimed nature, adding to its charm.
