Our shabby chic Java root dining tables make an excellent conversation piece and will definitely impress your guests! The design of the Java roots is very modern, contemporary and are similar to that found on BBC's Saturday Kitchen television show which has become a popular favourite amongst our customers. The Java root will keep you on trend and this dining table offers a unique edge to your dining experience. The overall design of the Java root has very intricate detailing which is specific to each root and you will never find no two roots that look the same, the bases are completely natural and come in different shapes and sizes. Although the Java roots have a hollow centre this does not take away from their sturdy nature and they can hold our toughened safety glass with ease! The roots have been excavated out of the ground by The National Indonesian Eco Programme which encourages the regrowth of forests and promotes sustainable livelihoods for local people.
The 1.5m Java root dining table will comfortably seat 6 people with our stackable Zorro chairs which are manufactured using solid metal framework and covered in an attractive natural Kubu Grey wicker making them extremely robust and stable. The Zorro chairs offer an unusual and space-saving alternative, with its strong metal frame and elegant lines to add a modern and contemporary vibe to your dining space.
The glass we use is toughened safety glass that is 10mm thick with bevelled edges, which makes this glass top extremely heavy. It simply rests on top of the root and is supported very safely by the structure of the root base underneath. If required, we can provide small rubber dots or suckers to place between the glass and the root to add some extra friction and peace of mind, but most people find these unnecessary and detract from the table's natural look. We swear by our professional glass cleaner that we use to make our glass sparkling clean. It also acts as a sanitiser and can be used on all kitchen surfaces to cut through grease, whilst eradicating germs.

Delivery & Returns
Delivery
We aim to get every order to you as quick as humanly possible, all orders under £100 qualify for Free Delivery. Where transport costs are higher charges can occur to cover costs, we always keep this to a minimum.
For an accurate delivery charge simply add your items to the basket, head to the checkout page and input the delivery postcode.
Every order, unless otherwise stated (large items or made to order) will be dispatched within 24 - 48 hours. Where possible we aim to dispatch items on the same day, depending on the time you place your order.
We use a range of courier services to deliver your items as quickly as possible. The size of the item determines the courier used. We have a few different categories which outline how your order will be delivered to you:
- Small items are delivered with our parcel courier and generally take 24-48 hours. - Large items are delivered by pallet and take around 2-5 days depending on the delivery location. The courier will book the delivery directly with you. - Extremely large, heavy or valuable items may be delivered either on a pallet or with our own transport. Dispatch and Delivery times can vary in this category.
PLEASE NOTE: Where items are delivered by pallet, the couriers are only under obligation to deliver it to the outside of your premises and it is your responsibility to transport the goods internally within your property. If you require a Two-man service to bring your goods inside your home please ask regarding this service at the point of order.
Our own van is used to provide a Two-Man service. Our van runs generally happen every 1-2 weeks.
