We have adapted our walkthrough picnic bench design to incorporate a sturdy steel frame, to provide a long-lasting and durable alternative to the generic timber-framed picnic benches. It features chunky seats, high backs for comfort, and a perfectly proportioned tabletop with a parasol hole to offer a versatile al fresco dining experience. The walkthrough design makes it easier for people to sit down, rather than one of the supports obstructing the walkway, making this a great design for people with limited mobility.
This picnic bench has been manufactured in Cornwall from Swedish Redwood where the timber has been fully tanalised, which means it can be left outdoors all year round to weather naturally, unless you like the fresh new appearance of the picnic bench then you can apply our protection oil to prolong the life of the timber. The prominent frame is manufactured using steel that has been powder coated in a sleek satin black finish which helps to protect it from the elements. Although the beautiful nature of this table requires no further treatment, overall, this picnic bench carries style, quality and design. Perfect for a patio, garden or in a commercial setting such as pubs, restaurants, cafes and other public spaces.
If you would like to maintain the furniture’s cosmetic appearance our Protection Oil can be applied, which is perfect for protecting your garden furniture and keeps it looking fresh. Our Swedish Redwood & Douglas Fir furniture arrives pre-treated but will weather and fade over time which some people prefer, once the furniture has weathered the protection oil can be applied. Delivery & Returns
Delivery
We aim to get every order to you as quick as humanly possible, all orders under £100 qualify for Free Delivery. Where transport costs are higher charges can occur to cover costs, we always keep this to a minimum.
For an accurate delivery charge simply add your items to the basket, head to the checkout page and input the delivery postcode.
Every order, unless otherwise stated (large items or made to order) will be dispatched within 24 - 48 hours. Where possible we aim to dispatch items on the same day, depending on the time you place your order.Â
We use a range of courier services to deliver your items as quickly as possible. The size of the item determines the courier used. We have a few different categories which outline how your order will be delivered to you:
- Small items are delivered with our parcel courier and generally take 24-48 hours.
- Large items are delivered by pallet and take around 2-5 days depending on the delivery location. The courier will book the delivery directly with you.
- Extremely large, heavy or valuable items may be delivered either on a pallet or with our own transport. Dispatch and Delivery times can vary in this category.
PLEASE NOTE: Where items are delivered by pallet, the couriers are only under obligation to deliver it to the outside of your premises and it is your responsibility to transport the goods internally within your property.  If you require a Two-man service to bring your goods inside your home  please ask regarding this service at the point of order.
Our own van is used to provide a Two-Man service. Our van runs generally happen every 1-2 weeks.
